About Radiant Lab-Grown Diamonds

Radiant cut diamonds join the clean outline of an emerald cut with the sparkle of a brilliant cut. Their cut corners make them sturdy, and they come in square and rectangular outlines.

What lab-grown means

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds: the same carbon crystal, hardness and sparkle as a mined diamond, grown in a lab instead of taken from the ground. Even a gemologist needs specialist equipment to tell them apart.

What certified means

Certified means an independent lab, usually IGI for lab-grown diamonds, has examined the stone and issued a grading report describing its carat weight and quality. The report number is on each diamond’s page, so you can check it on the lab’s website.

Radiant Diamond FAQs

What is the difference between a radiant and an emerald cut?

Both have cut corners, but a radiant has brilliant facets that sparkle, while an emerald has long step facets that flash.

Are radiant diamonds durable?

Yes. The cut corners remove the sharp points that can chip, which makes radiants a good everyday choice.

Square or rectangular radiant?

It is personal. A ratio near 1.00 looks square; around 1.20 to 1.35 gives a rectangular look that sits longer on the finger.
